How SupplementGet approaches independence, corrections, affiliate disclosure, and reader trust.
On this page
SupplementGet exists to help readers compare supplements and wellness topics with clear reasoning and transparent limits - not sales pressure disguised as journalism. This policy explains how we keep editorial control, disclose commerce, and fix mistakes.
Our mission and audience
We publish evidence-aligned guides and reviews for adults making everyday decisions about supplements, nutrition-adjacent products, and related wellness categories. We assume readers may share articles with clinicians; we do not provide individualized medical advice.
Editorial independence
We control what we cover. Affiliate relationships, samples, or outreach from brands do not determine whether a topic is covered, how it is ranked in a story, or whether criticism appears.
When brands offer access or assets, we assess whether acceptance creates obligation. If it does, we decline or disclose the limitation plainly.
Sourcing and claims
Claims about benefits, mechanisms, or safety should be traceable to reputable sources - peer-reviewed literature where possible, plus authoritative regulatory or clinical references when they add material context.
Marketing slogans, influencer anecdotes, and manufacturer press releases are not treated as proof. When evidence is thin, we say so.
Conflicts of interest
Authors and reviewers disclose relevant conflicts to editors. Editors decide whether recusal, extra review, or additional disclosure is required.
Affiliate links are never hidden on pages where they appear. When an article contains affiliate relationships, readers should see that fact early.
Medical and expert review
Articles that discuss dosing, disease interactions, pregnancy risks, or medication overlap should be reviewed by a qualified clinician or pharmacist when feasible, identified in the byline or methodology notes when present.
Expert review does not guarantee completeness for every reader; personal medical decisions belong with a licensed professional.
Corrections and updates
We correct factual errors when verified. Material corrections may include a dated note in the article when the change could affect reader decisions.
Send corrections with the article URL and, when possible, a primary source: [email protected].
Commerce and affiliate disclosure
Some pages include affiliate links. Commissions do not change our methodology write-ups: weak evidence, safety concerns, or poor value should still be stated clearly.
Product samples and testing
When we evaluate physical products, we aim to describe how samples were obtained. If we could not obtain a product for hands-on evaluation, we say so.
AI and automation
If we use automated tools for drafting or research assistance, a human editor remains responsible for accuracy, tone, and compliance with this policy. We do not publish fully automated medical recommendations.
Reader trust and feedback
We welcome reader questions and criticism that improves accuracy. For legal inquiries about content, contact [email protected].
